HMS Pinafore by W. S. Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan

The Tyler Civic Chorale is dedicated to presenting a wide variety of choral music through high-quality performances for the enjoyment of East Texas audiences. Come and celebrate this thoroughly enjoyable British comic operetta with us!

Auditions for HMS Pinafore are Saturday, January 5th, 2019 from 1-4 pm at First Presbyterian Church, 230 W. Rusk Street, Tyler, TX. Callbacks, if necessary, will be Sunday, January 6th.

Performance dates are Thursday, February 21st and Friday, February 22nd at the Pollard Theater Center, 3030 New Copeland Rd., Tyler, TX. Rehearsals are most Mondays and Thursdays from 7-9 pm. Mandatory dress rehearsal is Saturday, February 16th beginning at 9 am.

Tyler Civic Chorale members interested in chorus only need not audition.

Roles are listed below. Auditionees are encouraged to prepare the excerpts, both music and dialogue, listed below, but may sing any piece in English that demonstrates their ability.
